2.4.1 Coffre-fort à installer
New headphones, much like leather shoes, often require a period of use to achieve their full potential in sound quality. This maturation process can extend over several weeks or even months. To facilitate this burn-in period, Moshi Audio has introduced an innovative iOS application designed to accelerate the adjustment of headphone diaphragms.
The Moshi Audio Burn-In Tool features a curated selection of tones and frequencies that help the headphone diaphragms relax and reach optimal sonic performance. Users simply install the application on any iOS device, select their headphone model along with the preferred burn-in duration, and commence the process. While specifically tailored for Moshi Audio headphones, the application is also versatile enough to accommodate various third-party audio headsets.
Instructions for Use:
- Disconnect your new headphones from your ears and connect them to your iOS device.
- Select the corresponding model or create a custom profile for your headphones.
- Set the volume on your iOS device to a mid-level (normal listening volume), and then start the playback.
Additional Recommendations:
- Ensure that the playback volume remains at your normal listening level. For Moshi Audio earphones with impedance up to 20 ohms, this typically corresponds to 40-60% of volume on iPod/iPhone/iPad. Excessive volumes may cause damage to the headphones.
- Incorporate several hours of 'rest' between burn-in cycles. The recommended length for each cycle ranges from 4 to 8 hours.
- During the burn-in process, periodically listen to your headphones to monitor progress. Some models may require extended burn-in time before achieving their optimal sound quality.
